Men's Wailana™ Buoyancy Rash Guard
Built to breathe, designed to float.
Meet Wailana™, the innovative buoyancy rash guard designed for life in the water.
Powered by DualFactor™ Technology, Wailana combines the comfort of a performance rash guard with an integrated, orally inflatable buoyancy chamber. Breathable when dry and inflatable when wet, it delivers optional buoyancy without the bulk of traditional flotation gear.

How It Works
Wear. Wet. Inflate. Float.
This product assists floating. For use by COMPETENT SWIMMERS ONLY. It is NOT a life jacket, personal flotation device (PFD), or life-saving device. Not suitable for non-swimmers or unsupervised use.
Built to Breathe. Designed to Float.
Wear it flat
The chamber lies flat until you want it.
Inflate at the collar
Inflate with a few breaths through the collar tube.
Float
Low-profile lift across the chest, arms free.
Deflate, reuse
Lift the tube and press the chest to release the air. Nothing to replace.
Engineered Differently. Powered by DualFactor™ Technology, Wailana™ incorporates specialized performance materials unlike conventional inflatable products. Minor bubbling along seams or through the fabric when submerged is an expected characteristic of the design and does not necessarily indicate a defect.
Fabric & care
Care: machine wash cold, gentle cycle, hang dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean.
Fit
Performance athletic fit — tailored for all-day comfort, not compression. Men's S–3XL, women's XS–2XL. Always deflate the chamber fully before removing. Size guide
What it is — and isn't
Wailana™ is a buoyancy aid for competent swimmers. It is not a life jacket, PFD, or life-saving device, and it isn't Coast Guard approved.
Questions
Is Wailana™ a life jacket?
No. It's a buoyancy aid for competent swimmers — extra lift when you want it, not a life-saving device or PFD.
Does it use CO₂ cartridges?
No. You inflate it with just a few breaths through the collar tube, so there's nothing to buy again and no cost per use.
Can I surf or swim with it deflated?
Yes. Deflated, the chamber lies flat and it wears like a regular rash guard.
How do I deflate it?
Release the strap and lift the tube beside your head, keeping the opening above the water. Hold the tube up and press the inflated area with your other hand to release the air. Always deflate fully before taking the shirt off. Your Wailana™ also gradually releases air as the fabric dries.
Is it normal to see small air bubbles?
Yes! Wailana™ features our proprietary DualFactor™ Technology, incorporating specialized performance materials engineered for lightweight, on-demand buoyancy.
Due to the unique characteristics of this technology, small air bubbles may occasionally appear along seams or through the fabric when submerged. This is an expected characteristic of the design and does not necessarily indicate a defect or affect normal performance.
